About the Company

Our client is a leading solutions provider for gas distribution systems and high-purity process equipment supporting the semiconductor and electronics industries. As we expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Design Engineer to join our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), equipment layouts, and gas distribution schematics based on project specifications and industry standards.
• Draft mechanical and process drawings for gas systems using AutoCAD or relevant 2D/3D design software.
• Work closely with project engineers and sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with internal and client requirements.
• Support the design and layout of custom gas cabinets, gas boxes, and related high-purity equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date drawing records and documentation in line with engineering change procedures.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams for design clarification and BOM (Bill of Materials) generation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of relevant design experience in the semiconductor, high-purity gas, or process engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of P&ID and mechanical drafting standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD & BIM software.
• Familiarity with gas distribution systems and semiconductor facility design will be an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple drafting tasks under tight timelines.
• Good team player with strong communication and coordination skills.
