Job summary

A leading door solutions provider in Singapore is looking for an Architectural Draftsperson to prepare detailed architectural drawings and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards. The role involves liaising with project teams, maintaining organized documentation, and applying drafting standards for accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in AutoCAD, architectural drawings, and attention to detail, making it essential for the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans based on design specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes and industry standards.
• Liaise with the Project team for detailing shop drawings and submission approval.
• Maintain and manage revisions of project drawings in an organized manner.
• Ensure drawings are properly organized and filed in accordance with company standards.
• Apply sound knowledge of drafting standards ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans based on design specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, industry standards (e.g., BCA, ISO) and company guidelines.
• Liaise with the Project team for developing detailing shop drawings and submission approval.
• Maintain, update, and manage all revisions of the project drawings in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure drawings and related documents are properly organized, filed, and maintained in the correct file locations in accordance with the company standards and project requirements.
• Apply sound knowledge of drafting standards and conventions, ensuring a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail in all deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
