Deputy Director, Corporate & Strategic Planning

EV-Electric (EVe) Charging Pte Ltd is Singapore’s leading EV charging solutions provider, a wholly owned subsidiary of Land Transport Authority (LTA), tasked with managing Electric Vehicle (EV) charger deployment for carparks across the island and supporting electrical infrastructure upgrades.

The candidate will report to the Director of Strategy and will oversee a diverse team across strategic planning and corporate functions. Overall, the job scope of this position could encompass some or all of the following areas:

Strategic Planning and Business Development
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee and develop strategic roadmaps and plans to drive and optimise deployment of electric vehicle charging systems and electrical infrastructure upgrades.
  • Strategic Planning: Monitor and research technology innovations and disruptors which may improve efficacy, or cause infrastructure obsolescence, and develop technological roadmap to guide EVe’s future strategies.
  • Business Development: Develop medium-to-long-term business plans to increase revenue, lower cost, and expand revenue streams.
  • Business Development: Clinch new ventures and maintain accounts to improve EVe’s profitability and operability.
  • Business Intelligence: Aggregate and organise data required for planning and operations, including maintaining, enhancing, and operationalising EVe’s data platform/warehouse.
  • Business Intelligence: Oversee data analytics and dashboarding efforts to meet organisational needs.
Corporate Strategy
  • Corporate Planning and Finance: Oversee corporate planning cycles and processes, including KPI development and organizational performance tracking, enterprise risk management frameworks and business continuity planning.
  • Corporate Planning and Finance: Oversee planning and execution of corporate secretarial functions, including corporate meetings, retreats and workshops.
  • Corporate Planning and Finance: Oversee and provide insights for financial budgeting, reporting, and forecasting processes to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability, as well as ensure compliance with internal and external financial requirements.
  • Marketing & Communications: Develop and implement an integrated corporate communications strategy that supports brand reputation, employee engagement, and stakeholder relations.
  • Marketing & Communications: Oversee internal and external communications, media relations, and crisis communication across various platforms.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a senior position.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to multi-task.
  • Good analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership with ability to lead, motivate diverse teams and manage changes.
  • Ability to work under intense pressure and to multi-task effectively.
