Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Deputy Director of Business Development to lead and drive revenue growth for our Digital Business portfolio. This role is pivotal in expanding our enterprise client base, increasing subscriber numbers (both corporate and individual), and delivering on revenue targets through strategic sales of subscriptions, product bundles, and platform solutions.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business development leader who thrives in high-growth environments, is comfortable engaging with C-level clients, and possesses a strong understanding of digital learning platforms and funding mechanisms in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the acquisition of new enterprise clients for the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and digital learning products.

  • Own and deliver subscriber growth and revenue targets across both corporate and individual segments.

  • Lead high-impact sales pitches and product demonstrations focused on subscription models, content bundles, and platform capabilities.

  • Manage and deepen relationships with key enterprise accounts to ensure renewals, upselling, and high customer satisfaction.

  • Develop strategic partnerships and opportunities that support scalable growth of the digital learning ecosystem.

  • Oversee and report on individual sign-up performance and continuously seek new outreach channels to grow this segment.

  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Corporate Sales, and Product teams to align on pricing, sales proposals, and product offerings, while ensuring accurate reporting and tracking of revenue, budgeting, and performance metrics.

  • Maintain regular reporting cadence, providing accurate subscriber and revenue updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members to ensure alignment with department and business goals.

  • Represent the Digital Business unit in internal committees, industry events and dialogues.

  • Continuously identify process improvements to increase sales efficiency and customer engagement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of business development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Strong track record in B2B sales, account management, and revenue delivery, ideally in EdTech or digital platforms.

  • Strong understanding of Singapore’s funding landscape (e.g., SkillsFuture) and enterprise learning needs. Familiarity with HRMS platforms is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortable with sales forecasting, tableau and performance tracking tools.
