Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Deputy Contracts Manager to lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and manage procurement and contract processes. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in infrastructure projects. Qualifications

Deputy Contracts Manager
  • Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors in procurement and contract management.
  • Review contract documents and provide cost estimates for tenders.
  • Prepare and monitor project cost budgets and cash flow, adjusting budget projections for design/construction changes and variations.
  • Oversee main contract progress claims and subcontract payments, including variation claims.
  • Resolve contract disputes and assess entitlements for extensions of time and loss/expense claims.
  • Independently manage large-scale projects.
  • Maintain records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely finalisation of main and subcontract agreements.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration, and/or management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience in infrastructure projects is preferred.
