This role involves a 6-day work week with rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

  • Manage inventory levels and stock holding days through effective ordering practices.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies, focusing on promotional and seasonal items.
  • Prepare weekly rosters and manage manpower in line with promotions.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members through on-the-job training.
  • Maintain high standards in shelf ticketing, product display, and customer service.
  • Ensure a conducive shopping environment that enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

We have partnered with one of the leading retail groups in Singapore with a strong presence across multiple store formats islandwide. With a portfolio of well‑established brands, the business continues to grow and adapt, serving diverse customer segments though its network of over 50 outlets.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead daily operations, drive sales performance, and ensure smooth execution of store activities, as well as responsible for achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and developing team members to deliver an excellent shopping experience. The role requires good leadership in managing inventory, planning promotions, optimizing manpower deployment, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.

This position is a6-days work week with rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee departmental sales and profitability, ensuring achievement of budget and stretch targets.
  • Manage inventory levels and stock holding days through effective ordering practices to maximize product availability and sales.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies, with a focus on promotional and seasonal items.
  • Prepare weekly rosters and manage SPLH in line with promotional/seasonal calendars to optimize manpower deployment and control salary costs.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members through on‑the‑job training, special assignments, and structured programs.
  • Maintain high standards in shelf ticketing, product display, housekeeping, hygiene, stock rotation, replenishment, and customer service.
  • Ensure a conducive shopping environment that enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
