Job description

Gentle Dental Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in the Bukit Timah and Central Region. As a full-time Dental Assistant, 6 days' work Monday to Saturday 9-5 pm. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and preparing materials
• Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment to the highest standards of infection control
• Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
• Facilitating patient registration, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
• Providing chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene and dental health
• Performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification or certification in dental assisting, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient-centric approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with dental practice management software
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and sterilization
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
