Job summary

A logistics service provider in Singapore seeks a transport and logistics personnel for deliveries using a 14ft lorry. The role involves managing schedules, preparing delivery documents, and ensuring items are transported without damage. Candidates must possess a valid Class 3 driving license, be physically fit, and communicate basic Mandarin. This is a full-time position with a 5.5 day work week and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in logistics or transport.
• Physically fit to handle heavy materials.

Responsibilities

Location: Central

Working hour: 5.5 work week

Weekdays 9:30am - 6:30pm

Saturday 9:30am - 1pm

*(OT might be required and will be paid)

*Training on industry knowledge will be provided.

Our client is a provider for the entertainment industry. They are looking for a transport and logistics personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect items using 14ft Lorry
• Work closely with the procurement & Operation team for daily goods to be sent into production.
• Prepare required documents before delivery such as delivery order, invoices from finance, PO and receiving the order
• Manage the daily driving schedule, coordinating and ensuring good communication between each department
• Assisting with the packing of required items for Mascots/ Costumes / Material and ensure that they are not damaged during the transport.
• Ad hoc basis for miscellaneous sorting/ arrangement / minor assembling, packing or dismantling of racking/items.
• Maintenance and upkeep of vehicle
• Basic communication with clients and to assist clients with requests
• To carry materials. Heavy lifting might be required.

Requirements:

• Min. Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level in any field
• Valid Class 3 driving license
• At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field
• Physically fit to carry heavy items
• Able to communicate with colleagues from PRC in basic mandarin for basic task
• Proficient in English
• Highly discipline and organized
• Posses safe driving skills & awareness of the road situation
• Able to prioritize, manage different delivery and optimize travel route
• Able to create a good impression of company during any touchpoints with clients
