Job Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and timely delivery operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Safely operate the delivery vehicle and follow all traffic, loading, and unloading safety protocols.
• Communicate promptly with management regarding any route or schedule updates.
• Work closely with dispatchers, fellow drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide customers with timely phone updates, especially if there are changes to estimated arrival times.
• Meet daily delivery targets while ensuring goods are handled with care.
• Conduct basic routine checks to maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
• Perform loading and unloading duties efficiently and safely.
• Obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery.
• Take responsibility for fines or incidents arising from non-compliance with standard driving regulations.
• Manage 20 to 25 drop-off points daily, mainly within nearby zones using a 14-foot chilled lorry.
• Operate from our warehouse loading areas located in both East and West regions.
