Job description

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of data centre facility operations tasks and duties
• Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC systems, fire suppression systems and structured cabling systems.
• Manage DC/Building landlord ensuring preventive maintenance on data centre infrastructure and systems are performed promptly.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Support off-office hours activities, including responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating with vendors for emergency repairs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data centre facility management.
• Experience working in a high-pressured environment with 24x7 on-call responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and fire suppression systems in data centres.
• Good understanding of incident, problem and change management procedures based on ITIL best practices
• Must have prior experience working in data centre operations in financial institutions
