About the job Data Analyst / Scientist (Healthcare)

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and manage large, complex data sets from a variety of sources.
  • Perform data preparation and mining to uncover opportunities through analytics.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and iterate quickly to refine problem statements and uncover actionable insights.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in building and enhancing data science infrastructure, tools, and frameworks for efficient analysis, experimentation, and deployment of models.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance policies while fulfilling data extraction, reporting, and dashboard development requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
  • Solid working knowledge of data analysis tools, databases, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience translating data into meaningful business insights.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable working with diverse and disparate data sets.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
