Job Purpose

As the largest Card Issuer in Singapore, we are looking for a senior professional who can join us in transforming the credit cards’ rewards function into a compelling differentiator, beyond just traditional definitions. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, data analysis & marketing skills and an understanding of the credit card business and reward program mechanics. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the rewards strategy of DBS Credit Cards, the largest Credit Card program in Singapore, through innovative and market leading earn & burn programs. The purpose of the role is to drive customer engagement and loyalty while balancing cost efficiency and profitability. This role blends rewards product management, partnerships, financial delivery and building the right technology platform.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Product Development: Define and execute the overall strategy for credit card rewards, including the launch of new features, products, and partnerships to enhance the customer value propositions.
  • Strong ability to leverage segmentation, customer insights, and personalization.
  • Skilled in marketing, loyalty promotions, and ongoing engagement activities.
  • Experience in measuring campaign performance and ROI to improve outcomes.
  • Cost Management: Manage the rewards program budget, control costs per point, and identify cost optimization initiatives while ensuring the program balances business P&L outcomes & customer engagement.
  • Partnership & Merchant Management: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with merchant partners to create compelling offers; synergize across multiple teams to make compelling propositions.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with technology and platform teams to implement and improve the credit card rewards system, including both earning and redemption processes.
  • Market Analysis & Compliance: Conduct market analysis to ensure rewards offers are competitive and comply with relevant industry regulations and internal control standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coach a team responsible for managing the product lifecycle, including program setup, reward redemption, and day-to-day operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the rewards program, analyze key metrics, and report on results to senior management, ensuring goals are met and providing insights for future improvements.
Requirements
  • Credit Card & Rewards Expertise: 10 to 15 years of in-depth understanding of the credit card business, schemes, regulations, and the mechanics of rewards programs, including cost and profitability management.
  • Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and drive results.
  • Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong business acumen and analytical skills to gather complex information, make sound decisions, and develop strategic plans.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present clear, insightful information to various audiences.
  • Strong Marketing Aptitude: Work with marketing teams to deliver impactful and targeted communications to drive all assets within the program.
  • Experience: Significant experience in the credit card industry, ideally with a focus on product management, rewards, and partnership management.
