Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
  • Possess WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) will be an advantage.
  • Experience in course development, or curriculum design, preferably in public training courses.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Workplace Safety & Health.
  • Strong technical skills and excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to meet deadlines.

Overview

AA International is seeking a talented and creative Course Developer to join our team. The Course Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective learning experiences for our clients. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality courses that meet the needs of our target audience and support our company's mission and goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to identify learning objectives, content requirements, and course outcomes.
  2. Design and develop course content, instructional materials, and assessments using a variety of instructional design models, principles, and technologies.
  3. Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, simulations, and interactive exercises.
  4. Write clear and concise instructional content, learning objectives, and assessments that align with course objectives and target audience needs.
  5. Conduct quality assurance checks and review course content for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with instructional design standards and best practices.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and e-learning development, and recommend new approaches and strategies to enhance course effectiveness.
  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project team members to provide updates on project status, solicit feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
  8. Assist with the evaluation and assessment of course effectiveness, gather learner feedback, and make recommendations for course improvements and revisions.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in course design and development.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
