Position Title: Cost Engineer / Pricing Analyst

Working Location: Tai Seng

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.00am – 6.00pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,800 + AWS + Performance Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer inquiries, specifications, or requests for quotes (RFQs) to understand the project or product needs.
  • Calculate costs by reviewing labour, materials, time needed, and overhead costs.
  • Prepare clear and accurate price quotes, proposals, or bids on time.
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, Engineering, and Procurement teams to ensure quotes are accurate and workable.
  • Keep updated on pricing trends, market conditions, and material costs.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm requirements or discuss terms when needed.
  • Use quoting tools, spreadsheets, or ERP systems to create, update, and track quotes.
  • Ensure quotes follow company guidelines, target profit margins, and relevant industry standards.
  • Follow up on submitted quotes to support the Sales team in progressing opportunities.
  • Keep proper records of quotes, changes made, and customer communications.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in quoting, estimating, or pricing analysis (industry‑related experience is an advantage).
  • Strong number and analytical skills for cost calculation and pricing work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with quoting software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of industry materials, processes, or market trends is an advantage.
