A leading global professional services firm with a strong international footprint is expanding its Corporate Tax Consulting practice in Singapore, with a focus on the Asset Management and Real Estate sectors. This role offers overseas professionals an opportunity to relocate and work on complex, high-value international transactions, supporting institutional investors, fund managers, and real estate groups across Asia and global markets.

You will work in a client-facing advisory role, collaborating with tax specialists across jurisdictions. The firm provides structured industry training, including investment fund specialisation, enabling you to develop deep technical expertise in asset management and real estate taxation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structuring of investment funds and holding platforms
  • Tax structuring of carried interest arrangements
  • Tax due diligence on real estate holding entities and funds
  • Advisory on cross-border real estate acquisitions and disposals
  • IPO-related projects, including REITs and Business Trust listings in Singapore (tax advisory during pre-IPO and warehousing stages)
  • Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
  • Applications for tax rulings and tax incentive schemes
  • Permanent establishment analysis and risk mitigation
  • Stamp duty advisory
  • Capital allowance studies

Senior-level hires will be expected to lead engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A university degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law
  • Professional tax qualifications (e.g. SCTP or equivalent international accreditation) — an advantage
  • 6–10 years for Manager / Senior Manager roles or 10 years above for Director roles
  • Experience in corporate tax, M&A tax, or international tax, gained from a professional services firm, financial institution, or regulatory body
  • Proven tax advisory experience in fund structuring and/or real estate transactions, ideally with cross-border exposure
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management capability, and ability to work effectively in multicultural teams
  • Excellent written and spoken English
