Team Responsibilities

As MSCI continues to innovate, the Data Collection team leads the transformation of data operations through AI, integrating generative AI, intelligent agents, and scalable automation. These initiatives enhance data quality, efficiency and enable a more agile, intelligent infrastructure that meets evolving client and market needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Insightful Research: Proactively source, analyze, and process data, leveraging generative AI to extract insights & assess feasibility of onboarding new data.
• Unlock the Power of Information: Transform unstructured data from annual reports, websites, feeds, web crawlers and news into actionable intelligence.
• Enhance Data Quality & Efficiency: Lead initiatives that improve diagnostics, reduce manual intervention by lowering false positives, and increase operational efficiency.
• Revolutionize Data Collection with AI: Implement AI‑assisted, scalable models that streamline sourcing from multiple channels, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

• AI & Automation: Proactive mindset applying foundational AI techniques for process improvement.
• Domain Knowledge: Equity, financial markets & public company disclosures (e.g., 10‑Ks, annual reports).
• Stakeholder Engagement: Experience in client & issuer relations.
• Global Collaboration: Comfortable working across hierarchies, functions, geographies; prior experience in a global team preferred.
