Job summary

A corporate services firm in Singapore is seeking a professional to assist with corporate secretarial duties. This role includes handling ACRA lodgements, maintaining statutory registers, and conducting KYC documentation. Candidates should have a good understanding of the Companies Act, strong organizational skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate is a Singaporean or PR and can work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of the Companies Act and ACRA filing procedures.
  • Experience with BizFile+ is a strong advantage.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in corporate secretarial duties for clients, including but not limited to company incorporations, striking-off applications, preparation of directors’ & shareholders’ resolutions, and drafting minutes of meetings.
  • Handle ACRA lodgements via BizFile+, including changes in officers, share transactions, annual returns, and other statutory filings.
  • Maintain and update clients’ statutory registers and corporate records in accordance with the Companies Act and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct and maintain proper records of clients’ KYC/Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documentation and provide regular reviews or updates to ensure compliance with AML/CFT requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and compliance with relevant statutory deadlines and internal control procedures.
  • Respond to client queries through email and provide clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Monitor compliance deadlines, such as AGM/AR filing due dates, and follow up proactively with clients and internal teams.
  • Liaise with clients, directors, auditors, and other external parties when required.
  • Perform other ad hoc corporate secretarial or administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Singaporean/PR.
  • Good understanding of the Companies Act and ACRA filing procedures (experience with BizFile+ is a strong advantage).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and in a team.
