Job description
  • Assist in food preparation (E.g., julienne cutting, chopping, slicing, washing, portioning and marinating, etc.)
  • Prepare dishes according to the recipes and SOPs
  • Plate and present dishes with exquisite precision
  • Work with the kitchen team to ensure food consistency and quality
  • Ensure all the kitchen equipment is in good working condition and report any faults or damage according to SOPs
  • Ensure that strict hygiene and cleanliness standards are constantly and consistently upheld and adhered to in the restaurant, as well as excellent upkeep of personal grooming
  • Responsible for the compliance of all health, safety, and food hygiene legislation
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management
  • Basic knowledge in Asian cooking techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new recipes and new cooking procedures
  • Attention to detail with time management skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
