A community service organization in Singapore is seeking a food service worker. Responsibilities include preparing nutritious meals, managing food inventory, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Candidates should have at least a PSLE education, experience in food preparation for large groups, and a passion for caring for special needs children. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team. A WSQ Certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene is preferred.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals following established menus and safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
Manage food inventory and order supplies.
Minimize food waste.
Properly store all food items.
Perform basic pantry and laundry duties as assigned.
Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
Assist with upkeep of communal areas.
Minimum PSLE Education
Able to read and write simple English
Experience in food preparation for large groups
Preferably possesses WSQ Certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene
Able to work independently and in a team.
Have a passion to provide care to special needs children
