Control Systems Engineer – Precision Motion & Vibration

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced control algorithms to enhance the performance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform modeling, simulation, and validation of control systems to optimize machine dynamics and stability.
  • Analyze system-level behavior, focusing on mechanical vibration and acoustic phenomena to drive continuous improvements.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and vibration analysis equipment to evaluate system responses and formulate corrective measures.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve control-related issues during development, testing, and manufacturing.
  • Translate simulation results into actionable design enhancements and product-level improvements.
  • Integrate software solutions into real-time systems and validate performance through rigorous testing.
  • Document technical findings and present solutions to stakeholders for ongoing product refinement.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related discipline (Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD).
  • Solid foundation in classical and modern control theory, including system identification and feedback control.
  • Proficient in programming and simulation tools such as C/C++, MATLAB and Python.
  • Experienced in system modeling and analysis, particularly in mechanical dynamics, vibration, thermal processes, and motor control.

Desirable:

  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and drive systems in a high-precision machinery environment.
  • Exposure to real-time computing environments and embedded system integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
