A leading engineering and construction firm in Singapore is seeking a professional to coordinate mechanical and electrical works. Responsibilities include project planning, monitoring progress, reviewing technical submissions, and overseeing site activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in project management and a commitment to quality standards. A six-day work week with potential overtime is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate mechanical and electrical works by reviewing contract documents.
• Monitor project progress and schedules, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Review technical submissions and drawings, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Oversee site activities, supervise project teams, and ensure resources on site.
• Implement QA/QC requirements and coordinate inspections to ensure compliance.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Plan and coordinate mechanical and electrical works by reviewing contract documents, preparing schedules, allocating resources, and liaising with all project stakeholders.
2. Monitor project progress and schedules, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
3. Review technical submissions and drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with approved designs and standards.
4. Oversee site activities, supervise project teams, and ensure adequate manpower, materials, and equipment on site.
5. Implement QA/QC requirements, monitor work quality, and coordinate inspections to ensure compliance with contractual and statutory standards.
6. Six day work week, willing to work overtime if required.
