Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Construction General Foreman to oversee rebar installation and concrete casting activities. The ideal candidate will lead site operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. With at least 1 year of supervisory experience in construction, strong leadership and communication skills are essential. You will coordinate with engineers and subcontractors while maintaining safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in construction supervision, particularly in rebar installation and concrete works.
• Strong understanding of structural drawings, BBS, and formwork systems.
• Proven experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction General Foreman to supervise and coordinate all rebar installation and concrete casting activities at our project sites. The successful candidate will ensure that work is completed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in accordance with structural drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and supervise rebar, formwork, and concrete casting works on-site.
• Coordinate daily site operations between engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all rebar placement, formwork alignment, and concrete pouring meet quality and safety standards.
• Verify bar bending schedules (BBS) and ensure correct rebar arrangement before casting.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment usage to achieve productivity targets.
• Conduct pre-casting checks and coordinate with QA/QC for inspection and testing.
• Maintain proper records of daily work progress, site inspections, and materials usage.
• Enforce site safety regulations and participate in daily toolbox meetings.
• Support project engineers with planning, scheduling, and resolving on-site technical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in construction supervision, particularly in rebar installation and concrete works.
• Strong understanding of structural drawings, BBS, and formwork systems.
• Proven experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Good leadership and communication skills to manage multi-national site teams.
• Familiar with WPH/Safe Work Procedures and MOM regulations.
