Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the arts or operations field.

• Basic artefact and artwork handling experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the receipt, accessioning, and tagging of new acquisitions.
• Support artefact movements for exhibitions, conservation labs, and storage.
• Update collection information in digital systems.
• Liaise with contractors for artefact logistics.
• Manage artefact handling during stocktake exercises.
• Maintain packing and storage material supply.
• Assist in digitization of acquisition documents.
• Perform preventive conservation checks on artefacts.
