Responsibilities

The Role

In a highly regulated environment like a Singapore Trust Company, Compliance is the backbone of our reputation. We are seeking a diligent, process-oriented Compliance Assistant to support our Head of Compliance in managing the rigorous AML/KYC requirements of both our high-net-worth clients and our high-volume digital platforms ensuring that our growing portfolio remains fully compliant with MAS regulations through a mix of traditional diligence and modern screening tech.

Key Responsibilities

• Smart KYC/CDD: Use Riverside’s screening and risk review tools to review onboarding of new clients and periodic reviews for the 150+ structures, focusing on PEP/Sanction checks and UBO verification.
• Digital Compliance: Manage the backend of our Trust-Tech platform to resolve identity verification queries and "hits."
• Source of Wealth (SoW) Intelligence: Work with the STAs to research and document complex Source of Wealth profiles for UHNW settlors.
• Risk Reporting: Assist in preparing documentation for FATCA/CRS reporting and internal risk assessments.
• Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the Compliance department and the Trust Administration team to resolve pending onboarding documentation.
• Compliance Admin: Assist in maintaining the firm’s Registers (e.g., Conflicts of Interest, Gifts & Entertainment) and preparing data for MAS periodic returns.
• Audit Readiness: Maintain a continuous "audit-ready" state for the portfolio, ensuring all compliance files are current and digitally archived.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Law, Business, or a related field. An interest in pursuing an ICA or ACAMS certification is a plus.
• Mindset: Extreme attention to detail. You should enjoy "investigative" work and have a high level of integrity.
• Communication: Ability to communicate firm but fair compliance requirements to the administration team.
• Salary Range: S$2,750 – S$3,500 (Depending on experience/qualifications)
