Job summary

A leading commodity trading firm in Singapore is seeking a Contracts Manager specialized in physical commodities. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience handling contracts for metals and concentrates, with a strong understanding of contract administration and compliance. Responsibilities involve drafting contracts, managing contract processes, and collaborating with various departments. Excellent English writing skills and attention to detail are a must for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years in handling physical commodities contracts preferred.
  • Experience with Coal, Iron Ore, Crude Oil, or other Oil products considered.
  • Ops background is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review physical commodities contracts.
  • Prepare responses to contracts as required.
  • Manage contracts management process within timelines.
  • Update contracts templates and systems.
  • Collaborate with Traders, Legal, Credit, Finance, etc.

Our client is a renowned and global commodity trading MNC based in town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the physical commodities contracts management for concentrates, metals and aluminum businesses, as well as there are opportunities to manage a variety of other commodities that are traded within the Asia regional hub.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drafting and reviewing of physical Commodities Contracts across different Commodities

  • Preparing appropriate response/counter to Contracts for physical Commodities Contracts across different Commodities.

  • Fulfill the Contracts Management Process in accordance with internal processes, policies and guidelines within appropriate timelines.

  • Management of Contracts templates to ensure clauses are up to date and upload into systems.

  • Work closely with Traders, Logistics Operators, Legal, Credit, Finance and other relevant departments.

  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when required and assigned by Contracts Manager.
