Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement commissioning strategies, including detailed sequences and plans aligned with project objectives.
2. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to prepare and review testing scripts for systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with project and authority requirements.
3. Establish and manage the commissioning schedule, identifying critical paths and mitigating delays.
4. Collaborate closely with construction teams to integrate commissioning needs into overall project delivery.
5. Liaise with equipment suppliers to accommodate testing setup and site requirements.
6. Monitor, track, and verify commissioning progress to ensure adherence to timelines.
7. Maintain accurate records of all commissioning activities and provide routine progress updates.
8. Lead weekly commissioning meetings with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
9. Prepare and distribute commissioning reports and maintain up-to-date trackers.
10. Record, manage, and resolve commissioning issues in collaboration with all involved parties.
11. Direct and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with vendors and project partners.
12. Consolidate, validate, and file testing documentation and reports on a daily basis.
13. Organize logistics for Heat Load Tests (HLT) and Integrated Systems Tests (IST), including required temporary equipment and resources.
14. Support commissioning agents in HLT and IST execution by coordinating activities across vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
15. Ensure timely closure of commissioning issues and manage final documentation handover as part of project completion.

Requirements

1. Degree or diploma in engineering, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in testing and commissioning, ideally within data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
3. Strong understanding of infrastructure systems, including IT hardware, power, cooling, fire protection, and security.
4. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
5. Flexibility to travel within the Southeast Asia region for project assignments when required.
