Job description

We are seeking a Commis Cook to support kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality in accordance with our restaurant standards.

🔹 Job Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and chef instructions
  • Assist in daily mise en place (cutting, marinating, portioning ingredients)
  • Support chefs during service hours to ensure timely food preparation
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations and equipment
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
  • Assist in stock handling, storage, and inventory rotation (FIFO)
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor
🔹 Job Requirements / Specifications (S Pass)
  • Minimum 1–2 years relevant experience as Cook / Commis Cook in F&B
  • Experience in restaurant or commercial kitchen preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Familiar with food hygiene and safety standards
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
  • Team player with good work attitude and discipline
  • Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules
