Job summary

A leading underwater services company in Singapore is seeking experienced divers to perform various diving operations including underwater inspections and hull cleaning. Candidates must have at least 2 years of commercial diving experience, relevant certifications, and be proficient in English. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work odd hours. A valid Steersman License is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial diving experience.
• Possess recognised in-shore/offshore commercial diving certifications.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform diving operations including underwater inspection and hull cleaning.
• Ensure all equipment is working and sufficient spares are available.
• Follow company safety protocols and procedures.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To perform diving operations such as underwater inspection, CCTV Survey,hull cleaning, propeller polishing, blanking, etc. of vessels and barges.
• Experience in using brushkart, Polisher.
• Carry out maintenance and general repairs of equipment used for the job.
• Ensure all equipment are in working condition, and sufficient spares before every job deployment.
• Follow company diving safety protocols and procedures and performing tasks as per the roster and quality.
• Able to communicate well and take orders from lead divers/ supervisors.
• Any other assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Singaporean/PR only.
• O'levels and above
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial diving experience.
• Certified divers with no previous work experience can be considered for Apprentice Diver position.
• Possess recognised in-shore/offshore commercial diving CSCUBA/SSDE certificates.
• Certified in accordance with the relevant Commercial Diving Competency Standards under SS511.
• Possess valid Diving medical certification & diving/occupational first aid.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Strong team player and able to work odd hours, on weekends and public holidays for vessel movements.
• Possess of Valid Steersman License will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and experienced with Brushkart system and/or ROV system will be an added advantage
