Job Description

Specialist needs to perform and operate machinery, special-purpose equipment to manufacture precision components and parts. Specialist also needs to interpret sketches, manuals and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces and set-up requirements. Another critical aspect of the job to detect faults and making adjustments on machine technology parameter to ensure right operating processes to work pieces, materials with secure holding fixtures and tooling automation. Work effectively as a team member.

• Carrying out CNC machining and general machining
• Carry out right SOP productivity practices
• Conduct maintenance of machine
• Carrying out work improvement in tooling fixtures & automation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret technical dimensions and specification
• Apply proven machining methods for manufacturing processes
• Perform EDM wire cut machine operations
• Perform CAD/CAM programming
• Handle basic measurement devices and CMM precision equipment
• Carry out dimensional and geometric measurements
• Operates and Knowledge in micro machining for tight tolerances
• Carry out clean working environmental practices
• Carry out Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy
• Ad hoc duties instructed by supervisor
• 5.5 day work week

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret engineering (AUTOCAD) or 3D drawings will be an added advantage.
• Diploma or equivalent of certificate or Higher Nitec in precision engineering
• Min 3 year working experience in relevant precision engineering field
• Industry Proficient in 2D/3D dimensional UGS, MasterCAM
