A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a CNC Programmer to manage the setup and operation of CNC machines. You will interpret engineering drawings, program machines, and ensure precision outputs. Qualifications

Overview

Knowledge to Mastercam & Solidwork , Program for CNC Milling & Lathe

Responsibilities

• Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, CNC machine setup and process routing.
• Liaise with production team and engineers on the production information.
• Translate instructions into codes for machines to perform accurate functions.
• Prepare machine setup for test runs to ensure machine outputs are according to specifications.
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
• Create solid models using the CAD/CAM software with precision according to the drawings.
• Coordinate with process engineers and machine stop technicians/supervisors to create and validate machining programs.
• Supervise the task execution and inspect and measure finished products to ensure that measurements are complied with.
• Document the CNC program process and maintain the revision change according to change management process.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate in Precision Engineering or relevant field.
