Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Client Service Associate to manage client service requests and ensure timely execution of trade transactions. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, experience in client servicing, and strong Excel skills. Responsibilities include generating client reports, supporting Relationship Managers, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience in client servicing within banking, trade finance, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of trade products and processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to generate, analyze, and share client reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Client-focused mindset with resilience under pressure.

Seeking for a Client Service Associate to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for trade clients, managing day-to-day service requests and transactional needs.
  • Liaise frequently with Operations and Processing teams to ensure timely execution of trade transactions and resolution of client issues.
  • Generate and maintain client reports using Excel, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers.
  • Support Relationship Managers in managing client portfolios, strengthening engagement, and ensuring service excellence.
  • Handle sensitive client matters with discretion, ensuring compliance with HSBC’s internal policies and external regulations.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to deliver seamless experiences for clients across trade and banking products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience in client servicing within banking, trade finance, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of trade products and processes (letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections, supply chain finance).
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to generate, analyze, and share client reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Client-focused mindset, with resilience under pressure and attention to detail.
  • No strict requirement on years of experience — candidates with relevant trade and client servicing knowledge are encouraged to apply.
