French Teacher – Early Years (Ages 2–6)

International Kindergarten | IB-inspired | French Curriculum

We are looking for a passionate and committed French Teacher to join our early years team and contribute to a multilingual, child-centred learning environment.

Your Role

You will teach in French the French National Curriculum, enriched by IB-inspired practices, to children aged 2 to 6 years, including possible multi-age groups.
You will work closely with English and Mandarin teachers to ensure coherence, continuity and meaningful language exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach in French the French National Curriculum through play-based, inquiry-led and developmentally appropriate approaches.

  • Co-plan lessons with language counterparts to ensure aligned learning objectives.

  • Observe, assess and support each child’s learning progression; share insights with the School Principal and families.

  • Collaborate daily with the Classroom Assistant to support routines, learning and wellbeing.

  • Contribute actively to the school’s pedagogical project and ongoing curriculum development.

  • Supervise breaks according to the weekly schedule.

  • Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions and school events (Open House, community days, end-of-year events).

  • Engage in regular communication with parents, including scheduled parent-teacher meetings.

  • Take part in extracurricular and enrichment activities when relevant.
