Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collect parcels from the warehouse or distribution center and ensure accurate load management.
2. Deliver parcels to customers’ addresses according to the planned route and schedule.
3. Verify delivery information, obtain signatures, and update delivery status in the system.
4. Ensure parcels are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.
5. Follow traffic rules, safety guidelines, and company policies during deliveries.
6. Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding delays, issues, or incidents.
7. Assist with loading and unloading parcels when necessary.
8. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
9. Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries politely and professionally.
10. Report any discrepancies, damaged parcels, or accidents immediately.

Requirements:

• Valid driving license (appropriate class 3 or Class 4 for the vehicle).
• Proven experience in delivery or logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy parcels (up to company-specified weight).
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic digital literacy for using delivery apps or scanners.
