传道人的角色与职责

传道人主要的职责是牧养，教导和广传福音。我们理想中的人选是一位善于建立关系，愿意服事他人，并拥有讲道与传福音恩赐和热忱的人。传道人应当具备神学知识，以宣读，劝勉，教导推动会众的属灵成长。传道人也需具备行政管理知识和能力，确保教会运作顺畅。传道人当有敬虔与高尚的品格、牧养的心肠以及与他人合作的精神，将在推动教会完成“荣耀神”的使命中扮演关键角色。

成功应聘的基本条件：

• 应聘者必须精通中、英文的书写与口语表达，因为所牧养的会众主有以中文为主的年长者和成年人，以及英文较强的青少年人。
• 至少拥有神学学士学位。
• 拥有3 年以上牧养与服事经验者将给予优先考虑
• 属灵成熟，目前在教会中参于牧养工作与积极服事
• 有魄力、热衷传福音与教导，具小组带领经验
• 在讲道与教导方面有属灵恩赐
• 良好的人际沟通与组织能力

传道人的职责：

1. 讲道与教导(提供会众属灵的喂养，基督教的价值观、以圣经为基础的教导)

2. 带领青少年或青年，成年事工

3. 福音与宣教

• 培训、带领教会成员传福音
• 带领门徒训练课程
• 若有需要，探访海外宣教工场并进行训练。

4. 辅导事工

• 为会众（包括成年与青少年）提供属灵辅导
• 为教会同工提供属灵辅导

5. 其他牧养工作

• 探访会友家庭与医院
• 协助主持、安排丧礼

6. 其他行政与协调职责

• 与教会行政人员、长执会协同处理行政事务
• 负起长老团所交代的其他事项

Church Introduction

The Fisherman of Christ Fellowship is an independent, non-denominational, non-charismatic and bible believing church.

Role and Responsibilities

The principal responsibilities of a pastor encompass pastoral care, doctrinal teaching, and evangelism. The ideal candidate should be relational, service-minded, and gifted with preaching and evangelism enthusiasm.
The Pastor will work closely with the Board of Elders to implement the church's vision of becoming an evangelistic church. The Pastor should possess theological knowledge to promote the spiritual growth of the congregation. In addition, proficiency in administrative functions is essential, as the pastor will be entrusted with selected operational duties to ensure the church’s activities are executed efficiently and effectively.

A devout character, pastoral heart, and cooperative spirit are crucial to advancing the church’s mission of glorifying God.

Requirements for Successful Applicants

• Fluent and excellent in written & spoken Chinese and English is a must as there are Chinese-speaking congregation and young congregation.
• Must hold at least a General Degree in Theology.
• More than 3 years of ministry experience preferred
• Spiritually mature and actively serving in a church
• Energetic, passionate about evangelism and teaching, and experienced in small group leadership
• Spiritually gifted in preaching and teaching
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Of upright character and faithful to biblical teachings

Detailed Responsibilities of the Pastor

1. Preaching and Teaching (Feed the congregation with Word of God, Christian values, and Biblical teachings)

2. Lead in Teen, Youth and Adult Ministry

3. Evangelism and Missions:

• Train and lead church members in evangelism
• Lead discipleship training courses
• May require to visit and serve at overseas mission station

4. Counselling Ministry:

• Provide biblical counselling to members (adults and youths)
• Provide biblical counselling to Church Workers

5. Other Pastoral Duties:

• Members’ Visitation – homes and hospitals
• Assist in officiating and arranging of funeral service

6. Other Administrative and Coordination Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with church admin staff and Board of Elders on administrative matters.
• Handle other tasks assigned by the Board of Elders.
