Job description

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to provide executive leadership and direction in shaping the future of healthcare delivery at the assigned SingHealth institution. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of the assigned SingHealth institution, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the institution, policy development and implementation, and managing resource allocation to achieve the institution’s goals.

Your role encompasses overseeing diverse functional areas including health information management services, licensing and data governance, process improvement, strategic operations, corporate planning, facility management, security, operations, procurement, specialist outpatient clinics and purchased services. Additionally, you will represent the institution in liaising with external agencies, Ministry of Health, foreign and professional bodies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a Master’s in Business Administration
• At least 5 years of senior management experience in a related field
• Exceptional leadership strength and integrity, with the vision and capability to meet current and future organisational challenges
• Strong strategic thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience in healthcare operations would be highly advantageous
