We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our culinary team and prepare high-quality dishes for our guests. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Japanese, Fusion, and Poke Bowl cuisine, and be available to work during our operating hours. You will help establish our cafeteria as the top choice for sushi and poke bowl or pizza, delighting our customers with innovative flavors.

Sushi & Poke Bowl
  • Create a diverse menu featuring sushi and poke bowls using fresh fish, seafood, vegetables, and fruits.
  • Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri, and sashimi.
  • Select fresh ingredients to ensure high-quality dishes.
  • Enhance sushi rolls and poke bowls with appropriate flavors such as ginger, rice vinegar, wasabi, soy sauce, and signature dressings.
  • Oversee food preparation activities, including rice cooking and ingredient prep.
  • Recommend new recipes to keep the menu modern and exciting.
Pizza
  • Prepare pizza dough and maintain proper storage of bases.
  • Assemble pizzas with fresh ingredients, sauces, and toppings.
  • Bake pizzas to perfection, ensuring proper texture and flavor.
  • Experiment with creative pizza recipes and seasonal toppings.
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the pizza preparation area.
General
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all cooking areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet operational needs.
Requirements & Skills
  • Proven work experience as a Sushi Chef, Pizza Chef, or in an Asian/Fusion cuisine restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of sushi types, rolling techniques, poke bowl preparation, and pizza making.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Availability to work during business hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Flexibility to take on various shifts.
  • Culinary school certification is a plus.
