Chef de Partie – The Velvet Cut (New SteakhouseConcept) Singapore

Full-Time | Singaporeans & PRs | Minimum 6 months’ experience in a commercial kitchen

The Velvet Cut is Singapore’s upcoming flame-grilled, dry-aged steakhouse — where precision meets fire, and every plate is crafted with intention. We’re building a tight, passionate brigade to bring this concept to life, and we’re looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our opening team.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute dishes with consistency, speed, and respect for quality across assigned stations
  • Assist in prep for dry-aged cuts, sides, sauces, and seasonal specials
  • Maintain mise en place and ensure smooth service during peak hours
  • Uphold kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and organisational systems
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef & Head Chef to refine recipes and elevate the guest experience
  • Support training of junior staff and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a commercial kitchen (steakhouse experience is a bonus, but not mandatory)
  • Strong knife skills and a solid foundation in cooking techniques
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a good attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Passionate about quality ingredients, flavour, and craftsmanship
  • Keen eye for detail, from plating standards to station cleanliness
