Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Measure meal ingredients accurately for the Senior Chef.
  • Prepare meals by washing, peeling, seasoning, and chopping vegetables and meats.
  • Prepare basic sauces for meals as directed by the Senior Chef.
  • Receive deliveries and verify all ordered items are of good quality.
  • Take inventory of restaurant supplies and notify when stock is low.
  • Dispose of expired and spoiled food items in stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Clean and ensure all work stations are organised and properly sanitised.
  • Manage kitchen procurement and report on the food stock levels.

Responsibilities
  • Measuring meal ingredients accurately for the Senior Chef

  • Kitchen management, procurement of kitchen items and reports on the stock level of the food.
