Job description

Position: CEO European Market (Vietnamese Company Expansion)

Location: Europe (specific country TBD)

Employment Type: Full-Time Expatriate Assignment

We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the expansion and operations across the European Union region. The EU market has already completed its legal setup and this role will be instrumental in launching full business operations, building local teams and ensuring strategic alignment with headquarters in Vietnam.

You will work alongside a cross-functional team including a Back Office Director and a PMO to establish our operations, build local partnerships and execute business strategy.

This position precedes the onboarding of country-level leadership (Country Managers) meaning the CEO will be responsible for laying the groundwork across multiple countries (e.g. Spain, Portugal, Finland, Austria, Kazakhstan, Belgium, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead market entry and organizational setup across multiple EU countries.
  • Develop local business strategy and operations aligned with group-level objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing regional team.
  • Work closely with HQ to coordinate regional strategy compliance and growth metrics.
  • Represent the company with local partners, government agencies and business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience.
  • Prior experience in cross-border market development is preferred.
  • Strong background in regulated industries or high-growth platforms (logistics, e-commerce, fintech).
  • Strong adaptability to multicultural environments.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with structured thinking.
  • Language: Fluent in English; additional European language(s) is a plus.
  • Legal knowledge: Familiarity with EU business regulations and labor laws is highly advantageous.
