Job summary

A local tuition centre in Singapore is seeking a meticulous Administrative Executive to manage day-to-day operations, handle administrative tasks, and deliver excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment for students and parents. Prior experience in education or customer service is advantageous. The position is onsite and includes flexible weekday and weekend hours.

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised individual to manage the day-to-day administrative operations of our tuition centre. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for both students and parents.

Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Duties

  • Handle all administrative work with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining organised records and processes.
  • Arrange replacement classes efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to students’ learning.
  • Prepare lesson-related materials promptly and ensure they are ready before class.
  • Maintain overall tidiness, cleanliness, and presentation of the centre.

Customer Service & Enquiries

  • Answer walk-in, phone, and online enquiries tactfully and professionally.
  • Be a trusted programme consultant where you guide parents in selecting the right tuition programme for their child.
  • Follow up with newly-joined students to ensure they are settling in well.

Student & Parent Experience

  • Build rapport with students and parents to create a supportive and friendly learning environment.
  • Proactively check in on students’ progress or comfort level, especially in the first few weeks.
  • Support student retention and conversion by delivering a positive and attentive service experience.

  • Onsite role based in Singapore
  • 4 weekdays & 1 Weekend OR 2 weekday & 2 Weekend
  • Weekday: 12 to 9pm
  • Weekend: 9am to 6pm
