Job summary

Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily kitchen operations smoothly, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation

  • Prepare mise en place and support service for hot and cold stations

  • Follow recipes and instructions accurately to maintain food quality standards

  • Ensure food hygiene and safety standards (SFA, HACCP) are met at all times

  • Assist in inventory checks and proper storage of ingredients

  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in training junior staff and implementing kitchen SOPs

  • Participate in menu tastings, seasonal promotions, and new dish R&D (where applicable)

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Western cuisine – French, Italian, Greek, or Mexican preferred

  • Prior experience as a CDP or Demi Chef ready to step up

  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques

  • Strong sense of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation

  • Team player with a positive attitude, passion for food, and willingness to learn

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Relevant culinary education or certifications a plus
