A global financial institution in Singapore seeks an experienced individual to lead KYC Operations within ICM. This role involves driving strategic initiatives, enhancing process efficiency, and fostering partnerships across teams. Ideal candidates will have 12+ years in KYC Operations, with expertise in global initiatives and a strong analytical skill set. This position demands excellent communication abilities and a detail-oriented approach, requiring on-site presence at One Raffles Quay.

KYC Operations is responsible for supporting all KYC and Client Data / Client Lifecycle Management related functions for CB&IB Businesses spanning New Client adoption / Periodic and Event Driven Reviews etc – within that specifically the ICM KYC team globally is a team of ~200 FTE’s across all regions supporting ICM and TFFI businesses. ICM KYC COE team in India is a key component of that global ICM KYC Team.

Driving and monitoring progress of various strategic initiatives liked to ICM KYC and broader CAD capabilities
Supporting management teams in driving successful solution executions to address challenges around process streamlining / operating efficiency / policy execution.
Working with capability lead in addressing risk and control topics including solution framing and execution governance, and risk mitigation / closure plans.
Close partnership with ICM KYC Regional leads to drive execution of changes as part of strategic initiatives across production teams.
Engaging with ERT and ICM NFRM teams to frame and deliver effective solutions that balance operating efficiency and client experience improvement with compliance needs.
Continually reviewing processes linked to ICM KYC and identifying opportunities for optimization of existing KYC processes without compromising control / quality standards.
Contributing to and executing aspects of ICM KYC strategy including aspects of location strategy execution, operating model changes and team enablement and support for Transformation.
Influencing strong risk and control culture within India ICM KYC teams
Partnering with global transformation teams in supporting landing, smooth operationalization and benefit realization of transformation changes for ICM KYC driven globally.
Build partnerships at senior levels with key stakeholders in ICM KYC, Global CAD organization and in ICM business.
Proactively scan external and peer bank landscapes for industry best practices and innovation ideas that are candidates for adoption- and engage with global teams to validate feasibility and benefit cases of any such ideas.
Minimum 12 years’ experience in KYC Operations in the Banking / Finance industry of which at least 3 years should be in a lead role managing global initiatives.
Experience in driving change and transformation initiatives in KYC with clear outcomes / contributions.
Experience in KYC / Client onboarding space in banks of similar size with direct knowledge / involvement of KYC review processes in Corporate and Investment Banking.
Minimum a bachelor’s degree.
Significant experience in supporting / partnering with CB & IB businesses with broad understanding of Correspondent banking and trade finance business product and service offerings.
Experience in addressing Risk & Control topics particularly around Non-Financial Risk management.
Thought leadership around KYC challenges with ability to suggest ideas for improvement.
Change execution skills with ability to translate strategy into execution excellence.
Understanding of end-to-end client lifecycle management processes and broader financial crime risk prevention frameworks.
Experience in working with remote teams and matrixed organizations and delivering successfully on project initiatives.
Attention to detail with strong data interpretation and analysis skills.
Collaborative and able to generate trust and partnership from senior / peer level stakeholders.
Proven ability to be able to build on and maintain key business partner relationships, able to assimilate other stakeholders’ perspectives.
Organization skills and adept at balancing multiple dynamic priorities.
Analytical / problem solving ability and able to take problem statements and targets and structuring a path towards the goal.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
