Sales Support & Lead Generation
- Assist the sales team with prospecting new clients, generating leads, and following up on inquiries.
- Provide detailed information on catering services, pricing, and availability.
- Coordinate client appointments, site visits, and presentations to support the sales process.
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, prompt, and professional communication.
- Manage client inquiries via email, phone, and other channels.
- Build long-term relationships by conducting post-event follow-ups, gathering feedback, and identifying repeat business or referral opportunities.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Work closely with clients to understand event needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Assist in preparing customized proposals, menus, and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams—culinary, operations, and logistics—for seamless event execution.
Order Processing & Documentation
- Accurately prepare and process catering orders.
- Maintain comprehensive records including contracts, invoices, and event details.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure timely billing and payment processing.
Menu Planning & Customization
- Partner with clients to develop menus tailored to preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure ingredient availability and special requests are handled.
Event Logistics & On-Site Support
- Assist with venue setup, equipment rentals, transportation, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure timely delivery and smooth execution of catering services.
- Handle last-minute changes and resolve issues proactively.
Sales Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate client records and sales pipelines in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular sales reports, tracking activities, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
- Support the sales team in identifying growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification (Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred).
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in catering sales, events, or hospitality.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Detail-oriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Familiarity with the local catering industry and event planning procedures is a plus.
