About the Role

As a Cashier at Gain City, you will play an essential role in creating a smooth and positive shopping experience for our customers. You’ll be the friendly face at the checkout counter, assisting customers with their purchases, processing payments accurately, and ensuring transactions are completed efficiently. Beyond cashiering, you will also support store operations by coordinating with retail staff, handling product inquiries, and staying updated on promotions and reward programmes.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Whether full-time or part-time, you’ll be part of a supportive team that values customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet customers and provide friendly service.
  2. Assist with checkout and handle payments.
  3. Answer basic customer queries at the cashier counter.
  4. Process cash, card, and reward redemptions accurately.
  5. Coordinate with staff for price checks or product info.
  6. Apply promotions during checkout.
  7. Keep simple records and balance cash at the end of the day.
