As part of our growth in Singapore, we are hiring experienced Calypso specialists to work on-site with a global banking client, while remaining on Quanteam payroll.

About the Role

You will join the Capital Markets IT team of a large international bank, working on Calypso Back-Office systems supporting Repo & Secured Financing activities.
The role covers both project delivery and Level-3 production support, in close interaction with business users and technical teams across regions.

Key Responsibilities

Development

• Develop and customize Calypso Back-Office solutions using Java

• Build internal components and services around Calypso

• Design, implement, and test new features and enhancements

Change & Release Management

• Participate in monthly release cycles (analysis, development, testing)

• Support production deployments and post-release activities

Support & Operations

• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 application support

• Analyse incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes

• Communicate effectively with business users and IT stakeholders

Continuous Improvement

• Improve development and operational processes

• Support junior team members and knowledge sharing

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–6 years experience in a relevant software engineering role

• Strong technical skills in:

  • Java

  • PL/SQL

  • Linux

• Hands‑on experience with Calypso Back-Office (v13+) including:

  • Workflows, Events, Filters

  • Reporting Framework

  • Scheduled Tasks

  • Messaging / SWIFT

  • Transfers & Settlement Instructions

  • Accounting, Positions, Reconciliation

• Good understanding of repo, bonds, securities financing, and trade lifecycle

• Experience with regulatory reporting (HRF, NORIA, MMSR)

• Experience integrating Calypso with external systems

• Familiarity with Agile environments
