Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to manage vendor calibration and equipment tracking. This role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities include ensuring timely closure of calibration activities and supporting onsite management in MRO activities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage the external vendors calibration
• Plan and schedule the monthly equipment tracking (external calibration)
• Responsible to ensure timely closure of calibration activities and delivery by vendors
• Follow up with all external vendor calibration documentations
• Coordinate with users on the schedule and execution
• Report and escalation to TS FLL on routine calibration issues
• Coordinate with vendors for urgent work and quotation, SC request to TS admin
• Provide support to TS Engineers on external calibration matters
• Support Onsite Manager on other MRO activities

Requirements

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar engineering role, preferably within the mechanical engineering industry.
• Strong technical knowledge with solid understanding of engineering principles, design, and problem-solving.
• Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate with the team.
