Position Overview

We are a social enterprise cafe serving quality food at good price. The Cafe Service Supervisor reports to the Cafe Manager and supports day‑to‑day front‑of‑house operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of service staff and provide oversight to daily kitchen and front‑of‑house operations.
  • Deliver high‑level guest service by welcoming guests, taking orders, providing recommendations, and coordinating communication between front‑and back‑of‑house staff.
  • Support the Cafe Manager with administrative duties including vendor relationships, staff roster, billing, daily reports, and duty assignments.
  • Gather guest feedback, recommend menu improvements, and handle and resolve issues or complaints professionally.
  • Manage a diverse staff team, including supporting staff with special needs, conduct briefings and updates, and carry out regular cleanliness checks of all cafe areas.
  • Perform any other appropriate duties assigned by the Cafe Manager.
Qualifications

The role requires a customer‑focused mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to manage a varied team. Experience in hospitality or cafe environments is preferred.
