A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a CAD Drafter to develop and maintain CAD drawings for various projects. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have at least 1 year of experience in mechanical engineering drawing. Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of BIM are essential. This role involves close collaboration with design teams, document management, and revising drawings as per engineering instructions.

CAD Drafter

(Full Time)

Job Description:

1. Develop and maintain CAD Drawings

2. Develop dimensional drawings for layouts and non-dimensional drawings

3. Revise drawings based on instructions/comments from engineers

4. Communicate effectively and work closely with the design team members of individual’s project assignment

5. Responsible for receiving, registering, filling and distribution of documents for the detailed engineering section

6. Develop computer generated drawings, isometrics, details, plans, schedules and data sheets

7. Perform other related work duties as assigned by Reporting Supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
• Basic knowledge of BIM
• At least 1 year experience in mechanical engineering drawing
• Basic knowledge of water (Swimming pools) filtration systems
