A leading electronics supplier service provider located in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage and expand their supplier base. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials for production, and executing purchasing orders. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the CM/PCBA manufacturing industry and knowledge of electronics components. Excellent organizational and negotiation skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in CM/PCBA or similar manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Electronics Components is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and expand Electronics supplier base.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials for production.
• Negotiate with suppliers on electronics/PCBA components.
• Execute Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
• Conduct material cost saving programs.
• Coordinate with freight agents for shipping.

Responsibilities

• To source and expand Electronics supplier base through development, sourcing and approving of suppliers.
• To arrange and ensuring timely delivery of materials for Production use.
• Good in negotiation with suppliers on Electronics/ PCBA components
• Execution of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Order.
• To conduct material cost saving programs.
• Responsible for the co-ordination with freight agents to ship out goods and perform other related shipping functions.
• To perform other related job functions as and when directed by the Senior Purchasing Officer / Manager.

Requirements

• Min 3 years of working experience in CM/PCBA/ any other similar Manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Electronics Components highly preferred.
• Work in cooperation with other members of staff.
• Good organizational skills and followup
• Ability to work within minimum supervision.
