Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist. The role involves sourcing suppliers and materials, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely deliveries for production. Candidates should possess a diploma in Logistics, with at least 3 years of buyer experience in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and hands-on experience with ERP systems are essential. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills are a must for this position.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Sourcing of supplier and materials to ensure cost competitiveness
  • Liaise and negotiate with supplier on delivery term, payment term and materials relatedissue
  • PO issuance to supplier based on requirement
  • Keep track of delivery status to ensure timely delivery to factory for production
  • Provide and liaise with factory on materials delivery date to avoid line down
  • Work closely with factory or store to ensure stock accuracy
  • Data entry on materials pricing and open order to suppliers
  • Support sample request for sample build
  • Shipment arrangement from supplier and to factory
  • Work closely with finance on payment preparation
  • Other ad-hoc task as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management/Operations or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of related experience in buyer capacity
  • Worked in Manufacturing environment advantageous·Proficient in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
  • Hands-on experience with Infor ERP LN
  • Customer service focuses -Good negotiation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Fast and accurate with sense of urgency
  • Able to work independently
  • Good team player
